This has been one of the most rewarding jobs I've done for several reasons.
As a sci-fi and fantasy lover it was a pleasure to do the sword for a Javier Negrete book, one of the most cool fantasy writters in my country. The other one was that I actually knew how happy was he with the bookcover,reading his opinion in a interview on the on-line magazine "Cyberdark.net". Knowing the writter's opinion about how one illustrates a book is not always possible..so reading that he actually loved the sword was the best prize for me. The last reason was the sword itself. I had several days to work on it, without rushing, and the final result of both the sword and the fire satisfied me like no other jobs. I hope that you like it too. |
