Historical recreation: Aranjuez Palace.

El Palacio de Aranjuez se empezó a construir en el año 1560 en la corte de Felipe II. El arquitecto original fue Juan Bautista de Toledo, quien también fue el primer arquitecto de El Escorial. El trabajo lo continuó Juan de Herrera, quien dio al palacio la austeridad clásica de su estilo. El palacio fue destruido dos veces, una en 1660 y otra en 1665, pero siempre fue reconstruido por Felipe V. El famoso castratto Farinelli fue uno de sus habitantes, y durante 25 años tuvo la confianza de los reyes Felipe V y Fernando VI. Él es quien organizaba y preparaba fastuosas fiestas y espectáculos de música y pirotecnia en los jardines de palacio, al atardecer, y, sobre este tema versa este trabajo para el documental realizado por New Atlantis para TeleMadrid. Obtuve diferentes tomas del palacio rodado de día, y la misión era añadirle los fuegos artificiales, y el atardecer, tal y como suponemos que fue en la época. Espero que os guste .

A brief notes about the palace: The Royal Palace in Aranjuez was begun in 1560 at the behest of Felipe II. The original architect was Juan Bautista de Toledo, who was also the first architect of the Escorial. The work was continued by Juan de Herrera, who gave the palace the classical austerity characteristic of his style. The palace was twice destroyed by fire, in 1660 and again in 1665, but each time Felipe V had it rebuilt. The famous castratto singer Farinelli was one of the innhabitants of the palace, and for 25 years enjoyed the trust of both Felipe V and Fernando VI. He was who organised spectacular concerts at dawn featuring fireworks and music, and this is what this job was about. I got several footage of the palace captured dutig day, and my job was to turn it into dawn and to add fireworks for a documentary. These are the early shots I can show. I hope that you enjoy them.
